Joseph E. Costa

Joseph Costa is Senior Vice President of Financial Operations of Costa Land Company and is responsible for the firm’s valuation analysis of new investment deals, active loan management, and daily financial support. Prior to his role with Costa Land Company, Mr. Costa served as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Barclays Capital, where he advised Financial Institutions (including Banks, Insurance companies, and Asset Managers) on Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Raising. During his tenure at Barclays Capital in both New York and London, Mr. Costa completed several large capitalization transactions including Barclays plc’s sale of Barclays Global Investors (“BGI”) to BlackRock for $15.2 billion, Resolution Limited’s acquisition of AXA’s UK Life Business for £2.75 billion (US $4.1bn), and the sale of iShares to CVC Capital Partners for $4.4 billion.

A Yale University graduate, Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 2008.
